Adobe Flash was formerly known to be the Macromedia Flash. Flash is a common platform used to design animations, advertisements and the website design contents. Since the onset of this software, the interactive animations have become a major part in the website and the web pages. As far as commercialism is concerned, it is necessary to put up advertisements wrapped in spicy designs with animated graphic user interfaces. Flash made it possible to attract loads of users to the respective websites.Jonathan Gay was the person who designed this software application and eventually with the help of Charlie Jackson and Michelle Welsh developed and launched an initial product which was ideal for computer for creating computer graphics and designs. As time went on Gay went on making the product more and more developed and effective to deal with the vector and raster images. In December 1996, Macromedia ultimately acquired the initial vector based designed software and named it Flash.
Flash is capable of handling vector and raster images along with the streaming of bidirectional audio and video. Action Script is the scripting language that is involved in Flash. Several contents display flash products and designs which require flash player which is freely available for generally all web platforms. The file format for the flash is .swf commonly known as Shock Wave Flash. Movies and animated designs are saved in this format and can easily be uploaded on to the net. Enhanced text formatting and realistic graphic designer tools make this software a more popular one among the graphic designers to use its application widely in designing online contents and websites.
Though Flash provides an excellent graphic display, it often results in too many problems. The global net navigators and users prefer to browse through the search engine to locate the desired websites. In order to locate the websites, the search engines generally scan through the contents of the websites and publish a reference in reply to the user’s query. Flash generated programs often embed proper information which eventually results in the incapability to display the details under the necessary search content category. More over high end graphic outputs require latest updates to the adobe flash player which is generally not available to many users. This results in update to the flash player in order to visualize the styling and texturing of a particular websites. Developments are a part of daily updates and developers need to be truly skilled to handle and upload daily changes in information in a website which requires daily manipulation in the graphic layouts. Proper knowledge of flash is an absolute necessity to be capable of handling the daily distortions in a flash generated website.
