MySpace is a social networking website very popular among people of all ages. It helps you to get in touch with anyone who has account on MySpace. It is a platform which allows people to share their thoughts, ideas and write MySpace applications. You can also keep in touch with long distance friends, people from different countries and also keep yourself up to date about the activities of celebrities. MySpace has its head offices in Beverly Hills, California and the US. In a very short span of time, it has become the “most popular social networking site” in the United States.

MySpace is a free online community made up of personal profiles. It comprises of digital picture and comprehensive information about personal interests. Users put their information and personal data according to their wish and desire. MySpace has some policy to follow where it requires users to be at least fourteen years of age. Users can send each other mails and messages as invitation to socialize.

MySpace is a network where you can create a profile page and use it to meet other people in the world. It contains a big network and helps quickly to find people. Many people have their profiles on MySpace so; finding people on MySpace is really easy. It is a place where anybody can contact you and you can be contacted by anybody. There is isolation, confidentiality and privacy setting for your MySpace profile which hinders others to see your profile. It allows people to email you and to add you to their own MySpace friend list.
MySpace profile offers you many difficult things to do; slideshow, adding HTML templates, HTML or Java Scripts, and many others. MySpace has many features; one of the most interesting is the “MySpace blog” which offers you to alter the colors, conditions, settings, background and other things. It has “bulletins” that are regularly posted on to a “bulletin board” for every person on his/her friends list. Few people choose to use bulletins as a service to share messages about different activities of politics, and religion. It has a “groups” feature which anyone can create on MySpace. It has “Polls” to enable users to post polls on their profile.

MySpace introduced “MySpace IM” in 2006. It is an instant messenger which uses account of a MySpace as a screen name. It shows instant and quick notification of new messages, friend requests, and comments. MySpace introduced “MySpace TV” in 2007; it is same as YouTube where users share videos. YouTube first appeared and gained popularity very quickly due to MySpace users. After that, MySpace banned YouTube videos from its user profiles. The users of MySpace raised their voices against the ban.
MySpace launched “MySpace News” in 2007; it is a news service that shows news and allows users to rank each news story by voting for it. Different people have different reviews about it; people enjoy it as well as avoid it. It mainly depends upon your social circle and friends you find on MySpace. These are very few things about MySpace, the more you would explore it, the more benefits you could get from it.
