[01/12/2009] Font

Set of characters of same size and style of printing (set of characters in one design) which is a complete set is the ancient definition of a font or also called as fount as in typography (printing as an art). For example – a font of size 9 will be different from a font of size 10. Also, if font of size 9 is in italics or bold then it will be easily differentiated from the font of size 10 which is having no effects.

A new definition of font was introduced after the computer fonts came into action. According to this, fonts have same design but different size. Four fonts are – Bulmer italic, Bulmer bold, Bulmer regular and Bulmer bold italic.

There is a list of fonts usually used in web design. Those fonts are usually installed on most of the computers.
