Set of characters of same size and style of printing (set of characters in one design) which is a complete set is the ancient definition of a font or also called as fount as in typography (printing as an art). For example – a font of size 9 will be different from a font of size 10. Also, if font of size 9 is in italics or bold then it will be easily differentiated from the font of size 10 which is having no effects.A new definition of font was introduced after the computer fonts came into action. According to this, fonts have same design but different size. Four fonts are – Bulmer italic, Bulmer bold, Bulmer regular and Bulmer bold italic.
There is a list of fonts usually used in web design. Those fonts are usually installed on most of the computers.
