[01/12/2009] Link

While viewing a web page, we see various terms that are underlined and are in blue colour. These are called as hyperlinks or simply a link that is used to connect to another page. The link may be in same page or to a different page. The link is of blue colour when it is not visited, red when the page is active and purple when the page has been visited by default.
There are two programs for linking – source program and target program. Source program contains the link that tells where to go which we have to follow while the target program which is the destination document where we want to reach.

Link is very important in Search Engine Optmisation.
