Router: An electronic peripheral which is used for connecting computers, other electronic devices with each other by means of cable or radio signals. It usually used to connect these devices to Internet. Router allows many computers to communicate each other and share the internet simultaneously. Each computer has its own cable to router, if cable connections are used. Latest wired-routers which are designed for home or office have one input port and four output ports. Home wireless router, in addition has four wired ports as well as we can connect many devices with it wirelessly. Technically, router is a device which is used for routing and forwarding of information.
