WWW stands for World Wide Web. WWW is a system of interconnected link of hypertext documents and some other resources available on the internet. By using a web browser, anyone can see the web pages which may contain images, text, videos, hyperlinks and other multimedia. The idea about W3 was given by the Tim Berners-Lee in March 1989. The world-wide web (W3) was created to be a very large container of human knowledge to share ideas, projects from a remote location. Webpage using the WWW can be viewed by writing the URL of webpage into web browser or it can be seen by following the hyperlink to that resource or page. URL's server name portion is then resolved into its corresponding IP address using the domain name system, or DNS. IP address is must for contacting the web server.
